How to download pdf bank statements to support your mortgage application
Most mortgage lenders will want to see your latest 3 months’ bank statements to support your application.
With the majority of customers now getting their bank statements online instead of through the post, we’ve put together a guide for how to download pdf statements from the 10 most commonly used banks.
A few general points for all banks
- Export as PDF, not CSV.
- DO NOT take a screenshot on your phone. Use the export/share button (normally a square with an arrow) to export the PDF file
- First page should show your name, address, sort code, account number, and the statement dates.
- If offered, choose Certified PDF (for banks like Starling).
